Partners Launch Project Rebound
Project Rebound will engage business leaders to share insights, identify challenges, and build actionable strategies to restore the local economy.
Charlottesville, Virginia, April 21, 2020 - The Charlottesville Regional Chamber of Commerce and economic development partners at the University of Virginia, Albemarle County, and the City of Charlottesville today announced the launch of Project Rebound, a local economic recovery initiative to address the COVID-19 economic crisis.
Project Rebound will unite the Charlottesville-Albemarle business community to discuss tremendous challenges resulting from the COVID-19 economic crisis and to seek solutions together.
Through structured, team-based exploration of industries and sectors, Project Rebound will release findings to assist businesses in emerging from the current stay-at-home order. There are plans to build upon initial findings to shape a plan for future business resiliency.
Project Rebound offers a unique opportunity for the University to partner with the community and to live the aspirations articulated in the 2030 Plan: to be a good neighbor and to be both great and good.
